DAY #1 | Tuesday Registration Map

DAY #1 | Tuesday | Introduction & Land Stewardship

Once everyone has gone through our registration check-in, we’ll start the camp with group introductions & bike checks. Then it's time to get the wheels turning and the #goodtimesonbikes going! During camp registration we’ll ensure you have everything you need, and that we have all required info & documents filled out.

Day 1 will begin with an easier lap(s) on lower Mt. Fromme to warm up and get everyone acquainted with one another. We’ll then progress onto trails such as Kirkford and Upper Griffen as the group builds their skills.

This ride will focus on assessing rider ability, building foundational skills and ensuring everyone is having fun in the correct group. Riders will learn how they can adapt their positioning to suit different sections of trail and refine how they are operating the controls on their bikes.

With Land Stewardship as our theme of the day, riders will get the chance to discover the forest and the land we ride on in a new light. We’ll be focussing on the cedar tree and exploring how this amazing resource is central to not only the North Shore trail building history but also the local First Nations whose land that we enjoy and ride on. Working with the NSMBA, riders will place their bikes down and pick up the trail tools for a portion of the day as part of their TAP Program with Endless Biking.

DAY #2 | Wednesday | Seymour Skills Day

After checking in with your instructor & saying hello to your new riding buddies, we’ll climb up to Mt. Seymour and warm-up on the lower trails. Day 2 will start with a climb so be prepared to pedal & then be rewarded for all your effort with an awesome descent down the trails later in the day.

Throughout this ride we’ll be developing our cornering skills and learning what it takes to ride roll downs with control. We’ll ride trails such as High School League, and John Deer to build and practice skills, before adventuring further afield to apply these skills. In the afternoon we’ll pedal higher up the mountain and explore the mid-mountain trails, ensuring everyone is having #goodtimesonbikes and having fun. Day 2 is a chance for us to build on the skills learnt on Day 1, and have a blast while riding some of the most famous trails on the North Shore.

DAY #3 | Thursday | Navigation Day

As we climb our way up the lower Mt. Seymour, we’ll be working on tactics to climb with more efficiency and flow. Less stoppin’, more rockin’!! After all, we want to have as much energy as possible to enjoy the ride back down the trails! Day 3 is all about becoming more aware of our surroundings on the trail and using the info we gather when riding to make wise decisions! We’ll take the time throughout this ride to explore different line choices and develop riders ability to scan the trail.

With a new start location and different check-points on the map, we’ve made it possible to score even higher than ever before in this challenge. As a team, you'll work together to plan a route and navigate throughout the day with the help of your instructor.

Competing against the other groups of riders, the aim is to navigate all the way to Inter River Bike Park, while passing as many check-points as possible. Each check-point passed will score your team points. Each turn on the trails will be important to consider, as this may cost you the game! There will be a winning team and prizes!!!

DAY #5 | Friday | Floral Friday!!

Find your best floral shirt or rock the Endless Biking Summer Camp t-shirt, because today is Floral Friday. Riders will make the most of the mountain and squeezing every last bit of gravity fed fun out of the ride! We’ll be traversing all of Mt. Seymour putting in a ride that links ups the entire trail network.

Throughout the day we’ll be stopping along the way to session some of our favourite sections and features, putting all that we’ve learnt together and applying on trail. By Day 5 you’ll have developed a number of aspects of your riding and it’s now time to shine!

The Mt. Seymour trails have many ways to link together and we can’t wait to showcase the best of them and end our 5 days of #goodtimesonbikes on a high!
