We are looking forward to an exciting lesson and the opportunity to ride with you. Our pumping and jumping sessions will help you get into the air and give you confidence when you’re up there. The first lesson starts off with pumping and fluidity, setting you up to get the wheels off the ground in the second lesson.

PLEASE NOTE! the Mt. Fromme gate closure times & limited parking in the parking lot. Parking on Coleman Street and pedaling up (~5-10mins) is recommended!
PART #2 Start & End Location
Braemar Tennis Courts / “For The Kids” trailhead
Please note parking on Braemar Rd is limited. Come early to account for a possible pedal to the start location.
PART #1 Overview
Focus: Pressure Control, Range of Movement - Pumping and Fluidity
Details: We’ll begin with a bike check & introductions, before building on the Pressure Control skills taught when covering wheel lifts in Progression Sessions FLOW. We’ll explore the use of both Passive and Active Pressure Control in order to gain the skills necessary to get the wheels off the ground in the next session, Pumping & Jumping Part 2!
How to get there:
- Drive & park on Coleman St or Mt. Highway. Please Note Mt. Fromme gate closure times & limited parking in the parking lot.
- Take #210 bus to McNair Drive then pedal up Mountain Highway to start
PART #2 Overview
Focus: Pressure control, Timing and Coordination, and Jumping!
Details: Using the lower fromme trails, we’ll ride tabletop jumps in a variety of ways and learn to control our bikes and begin getting the wheels off the ground, with confidence!
How to get there:
- Drive & park on Braemar Rd between Princess Ave and Regent Ave. Please Note there is limited parking near the Start/End location.
- Take #232 bus to 15th and Lonsdale Ave, transfer to the #230 bus to Princess Ave @ 3800 Block. Pedal to starting location via the gravel powerline trail.
