DAY #1 | Tuesday | LSCR Learning & Introduction Day
Once everyone has gone through our registration check-in, we’ll start the camp with group introductions & bike checks. Then it's time to get the wheels turning and the #goodtimesonbikes going! During camp registration we’ll ensure you have everything you need, and that we have all required info & documents filled out.
We’ll start Day 1 with some fun biking games to get everyone acquainted & then it’s off to the trails. The focus of Day 1 will be building foundational skills, exploring on our bikes and having fun. We’ll ride some easy pathways before adventuring to the trails, and get prepared for a successful week on our mountain bikes! Day 1 will be our chance to ensure everyone is in the correct group & having fun.
DAY #2 | Wednesday | Super Seymour Day
Meeting your instructor and riding buddies at Blueridge Park just off Berkley Avenue for another great day in the saddle. Making the jump over to Mt. Seymour, Day 3 will open up a whole new variety of trails for us to explore and learn on. Throughout the day we’ll explore all that lower Mt Seymour has to offer, and develop skills that will help us ride more, and stop less. We’ll look at how different lines can help us keep our flow and the benefits of scanning the trail ahead!
We’ll adventure along a number of trails that are deep in the rainforest and enjoy an action packed ride. Expect plenty of opportunities to put the riding skills learnt on Day 1 & 2 into practice as we wind our way through this complex network of trails.
DAY #4 | Thursday | Fantastic Fromme Day
Picking up where we left off, Day 4 will get us ready to rock Mt. Fromme with confidence. This ride will begin with a climb, so be sure to have a good breakfast to help you get up the mountain.
Throughout the day we’ll ride some of the most famous lower Fromme trails and ensure we’re all grinning from ear to ear. With the perfect mix of smoother, flowy trails, as well as rocky stepped trails to choose from, Day 4 has it all!
As we make our climb up the mountain we’ll learn how we can adapt our positioning to be more efficient and have more fun. Before our epic descent back down to the start location, we’ll work on maintaining our balance through tight, technical sections and challenge ourselves to maintain a straight line on some fun bridges / skinnies.
DAY #5 | Friday | Floral Friday!!
Find your best floral shirt or rock the Endless Biking Summer Camp t-shirt, because today is Floral Friday. Riders will make the most of the mountain and squeezing every last bit of gravity fed fun out of the ride! We’ll be traversing all of Mt. Seymour putting in a ride that links ups the entire trail network.
Throughout the ride we’ll be stopping along the way to session some of our favourite sections and features, putting all that we’ve learnt together and applying on trail. By Day 5 you’ll have developed a number of aspects of your riding and it’s now time to shine!
The Mt. Seymour trails have many ways to link together and we can’t wait to showcase the best of them and end our 5 days of #goodtimesonbikes on a high!
