SESSION #1 Overview

Focus: Balance & Stability, Braking, Shifting & Cadence

Details: This session will start with introductions and a pedal to warm up.

We’ll work through some key fundamental skills including: Positioning for stability & balance, braking, gearing, cadence and shifting techniques and more! The skills acquired today will be the foundation for the program.

  • Drive & park at Inter River Bike Park.
  • If renting a bike, ride from our shop (10min)

SESSION #2 Overview

Focus: Climbing Positioning, Slow Tight Turns, Terrain Awareness & the application of session #1 on trail.

Details: We’ll start the session with a quick review of concepts skills learnt in session #1 and apply these skills as we climb up into the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve.

We will then introduce various terrain awareness tactics and further development our skills on trail to improve your overall riding.

SESSION #3 Overview

Focus: Downhill Body Positioning, Pressure Control & continued Terrain Awareness

Details: We’ll work on finding our flow on some slightly more technical trails.

We’ll introduce you to wheel lifts & continue to work on good terrain awareness. Essential skills that help you flow on the trails!

  • Lower LSCR Parking Lot (Outside the yellow gate. The gate will close at 8:00pm sharpe!)
  • Please note! Limited parking at start/end location. Paid parking option at Lillooet Rd and Monasheer Dr..

SESSION #4 Overview

Focus: Application & further development of all skills, Timing & Coordination

Details: We’ll put it all together for a fun ride on lower Mt. Seymour

This is our chance to explore a new trail network & broaden your future ride options. We’ll utilize all the skills from the previous sessions & fill the session with #goodtimesonbikes.

Trails will be selected based on the ability of the group & the current trail conditions.
